Can’t escape the past

Saturday night, I ran into a bunch of people I graduated from high school with at Scruffy’s. Don’t ask why I was at Scruffy’s, I didn’t want to be there, but I was.

It was strange since I literally haven’t seen some of those people since we got off the plane at DFW returning from our Senior Trip to Cancun in summer 2001. But, there they were… and they recognized me, even with my glasses.

If that weren’t strange enough, I ran into another one of my friends from high school at Buffalo Wild Wings last night. We sat, had a drink and some food and just caught up. It seems weird since so many of the girls that I knew in high school are all married and have kids. Even some of the underclassmen I went to school with have toddlers following them around now.

In honor of strange days, here’s Stewie singing Rocket Man.
