I know many of you come here to read my reasoned and informed political opinion, but lately I haven’t had any because I don’t know what is going on. Sure, I’ve heard some grumblings that Pitts is just a stalking horse for Craddick (from quite a few people) and some people are bristling over who is pledged to Craddick.

Really, QR is sending like 10 emails a day, many of them with corrections for the previous headlines that were misleading. I’m just going to wait until the last minute and see what’s going on; then when I make some announcement I’ll look amazingly prescient.

Really, I’m in another time. Space Monkey got me a few books on my idol, “Bobby,” and I’m still reading Evan Thomas’ biography Robert Kennedy: His Life. It’s a really good look at the man, and not so much the myth.

I’m in a weird sort of holding pattern with my life. I’ve got to wait until Jan. 15 before I get to see the doctor I want and nothing else is really going on until next week.
