Sasha Grey on Tyra Banks

(Ed. note: I guess I actually have to watch Tyra Banks now. Anything for Sasha.)
HOLLYWOOD - Adult performer Sasha Grey, a recently announced contender for AVN’s coveted Best New Starlet Award, will be taping an appearance on popular afternoon talk program “The Tyra Banks Show” today.
The theme for this episode of the show, hosted by […]

Obviously, I’m talking about Iraq. Should we stay or should we go?
Now that Democrats have taken both houses of Congress, we can actually have a debate on the merits of what we should be doing. I’ve long been of the opinion that we never should have gone in and that we should be leaving as […]

WACO.-The Waco Friends of Peace will present the Waco premiere of the docudrama “The Road to Guantanamo (2006)”, at 6p.m. Thursday November 16th, at Poppa Rollo’s Pizza, 703 N. Public apology from Nate

On Tuesday, I had set up a lunch with rightwing blogger Right of Texas. We were going to meet at Capt. Billy Whizzbang’s, one of my favorite local eateries and finally get together in person after a campaign.
I didn’t wake up on Tuesday until 6:30 p.m.
I could offer a million reasons why I wasn’t awake, […]

Apparently word is that John Sharp decided to forego a gubernatorial bid in order to run for John Cornyn’s Senate seat in 2008. According to Capitol Hill Insider:
The Democrats’ nominee - whoever that might be - in a 2008 U.S. Senate race would find themselves at a major funding disadvantage at the start of a […]

“Democrats have control of both houses of Congress.” I have to keep saying it for it to sink in and really seem believable. I had to go right from the excitement of election night to hard work at the sports desk with new clerk guy. I couldn’t very well goof off and write on my […]

I’m training a new clerk at work this week, so I haven’t exactly been swimming in time to write. Hopefully soon I can go over some final numbers and talk about just how far off my predictions were, or just how smart I actually am.

All the numbers aren’t in yet, but it seems like a very good night for Democrats. I was clearly conservative in my estimate of how many House seats the Dems would pick up. When I left Austin, Missouri’s Senate race seemed like a goner and now McCaskill has pulled it off. Thanks in large part […]

Happy Election night

I’m still in Austin at the Election Night Mingle, partying my rear off. CNN just said Nancy Pelosi is the new speaker of the House and PinkDome, Bluebonnet and I are about to imbibe some champagne to celebrate. Keep up to date on central Texas races at wacotrib.com’s election ticker.
I’m either staying here all night […]

Go vote already

How could you read this blog and not have voted already?
Go on your lunch break or something, just do it. The line wasn’t that long at my precinct. Ten minutes and I was out. And it was only that long because I seemed to have gone when all the elderly and other cripples voted. Seriously, […]
