Public apology from Nate
Published by Nate Nance November 15th, 2006 in This WeblogOn Tuesday, I had set up a lunch with rightwing blogger Right of Texas. We were going to meet at Capt. Billy Whizzbang’s, one of my favorite local eateries and finally get together in person after a campaign.
I didn’t wake up on Tuesday until 6:30 p.m.
I could offer a million reasons why I wasn’t awake, from the precipitous reduction in my pain medication to not being able to fall asleep because leg hurt until late in the morning. But no excuses. I went out of my way to go to Houston and have lunch with Chris Bell when he was exploring his candidacy; the least I could have done for a fellow blogger was get my lazy, crippled ass out of bed and go to Waco and have a burger.
So, in this very public venue, I want to say I’m truly sorry to Vincent. The next time the Common Sense Crew gets together for a movie night or to play pool or something, consider yourself invited along for the ride.
