Bevo is dead… Long live Bevo
Published by Nate Nance October 10th, 2006 in Noteworthy News, SportsWell, one Bevo is dead. Bevo XIII, the longest tenured Bevo, died Tuesday. He lived to see Texas win a national championship and two consecutive wins in the Red River Shootout, and for that, we must be grateful.
Sadly, he did not live to see this Saturday’s home game against Baylor, whom Texas has beaten 203-14 over the past four years. And three of those games were shutouts.
