Somebody’s a Petulant Petey
Published by Nate Nance September 15th, 2006 in National PoliticsIt looks like President Bush has a case of the Mondays on a Friday.
Seriously though, I’m looking at this press conference and he’s acting like he did in that first presidential debate. He’s all peevish and petulant and numberous other p-words. It’s all “I know that!” and “Of course I know that!” He’s hunched over, too.
No wonder all the press is on him, he’s being pissy (another p-word!) and not bothering to pretend to answer their questions. When people like David Gregory point that out to him, he’s all ‘accept my soundbite and no you don’t get a follow-up!’
And he’s brought up Darfur (thanks Clooney). “Now’s the time to act”? I would think the time to act was in 2004 when it started. I don’t have Nexis but I’m reasonably sure he hasn’t mentioned Sudan since the election.
I guess we’ll delve into this more when I have a transcript.
