There is a great amount of debate for some reason about whether Steve Irwin’s final footage should be shown to the public. His family believes that he would want it to be seen, but others don’t think it would be ethical to show a man dying, unless you’re a marine biologist studying the behavior of stingrays.

I have a very clear opinion of this. In the information age, the only real sin is trying to suppress people’s ability to access information. At the heart of everything I find disturbing in politics is the insistence of keeping knowledge away from the people.
