Help fill Hank’s tank
Published by Nate Nance August 14th, 2006 in Texas Politics, The InternetsDear Friend,
As many of you know, I have spent the last four weeks driving across Texas and talking to as many people as I can about the future of Texas agriculture. I am grateful to each of you who has taken the time to meet with me or write me.
I want you to know I am listening. I know what it is like to pray for rain, to doctor a sick calf in the middle of the night, to sit at the kitchen table and figure out how to pay bills and to work hard on land you love to provide for your family.
At the Trans-Texas Corridor meetings I have had the honor to speak with people from all over the state. People who are as mad as I am about the politics of greed and corruption and politicians like my opponent, Todd Staples, who supports the taking of family farms and small businesses by eminent domain. The Trans-Texas Corridor meetings have demonstrated that our state government has forgotten that it represents the people.
Democrats, Independents, and Republicans have joined me in opposition to the Trans-Texas Corridor, but I need your help to continue the fight.

Texas is a big state and it never feels bigger than when you are driving. You can help me fill up my tank and stay on the road by making a contribution today.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 in the next two weeks. It is not unusual for me to drive 750 miles a day and your support makes this possible. Each contribution does make a difference. I want to keep fighting for our Texas values and against incompetent and corrupt state politicians.
Thank you for your support and get out and spread the word!
Sincerely,

PS: Please pass this email on to your friends and family. I need all of you to keep my truck running.
