Lyn Wall sent me this link for up-to-the-minute info on the Lamont-Liberman primary struggle. The fact that it was ever in doubt shows how weak some of the “bipartisan” Dems are in their own party.

The fact that Lamont is winning shows how weak Lieberman is. A year ago, his seat and his incumbency were a lock. Now he’s losing to someone with practically no national name ID. Think about it, 6 years ago Lieberman was our vice presidential candidate, now he’s being knocked off in a primary. That’s the state of things in this country.

A large group of us are not happy with the status quo. Lieberman and his ilk represent the status quo in our party, and in Washington. The go along to get along wing. Now’s not the time for that.

This is larger than just one issue. And it is not just one niche group - bloggers - that are making the difference. Disgust cuts across all lines.

As of 10:18:

With 733 of 748 Precincts reporting 97.99%

Lamont (D)    143, 363               51.81%

i Lieberman (D)      133, 323        48.19%
