“The Dark Knight” sequel is on
Published by Nate Nance August 1st, 2006 in Noteworthy News, Movie Blog, The InternetsThe sequel to the summer blockbuster of 2005, Batman Begins, was officially announced today. The press release included many things we already knew:
- Christian Bale was reprising his role
- Heath Ledger is The Joker
- and it is being headed by Chris Nolan
I mean, I had the Heath Ledger-as-Joker story two weeks ago. And if I have it, you know it’s old news. I’m willing to give Ledger a chance on this one. I don’t think he will outdo ol’ Jack in this role, but he could bring something interesting to the screen. If only he had Mark Hamill’s voice, it might be better.
On a more personal note, I have to say that I like the writing and I like the fun of CHUD.com, but I hate that f-ing Web site. Seriously, Nunziata needs to shut the site down for a day and have someone go through all the HTML and fix it. Half the time I can’t read the stories because the ad code is in the way. And the lag time on the scrolling down to finish reading something, ugh. Simplicity is the key to a great Web site and there is too much code there for things to operate smoothly. /end bitching
