After a long Friday night spent playing dominos, which I didn’t understand and did not care to, I spent the majority of my weekend in bed. When you can’t walk without pain, you kinda don’t see the point in getting up and doing something.

I know that had to piss Space Monkey off since we were going to go see Clerks II, but really didn’t want to. The anti-inflammatories aren’t doing anything for the pain in my thigh muscle, so my mom is letting me take some of her Vicodin so I can get to sleep at night. Thanks a lot Doctor Speckweiner for not prescribing anything that helps.

I’ve also missed out this weekend on getting an important story. Local TV got the scoop on me Friday that Cindy Sheehan bought land through an intermediary that turned out to use false pretenses to get it. Space Monkey knows the family who sold the land and I was going to interview them and get it before anyone else. But I didn’t find out until late Friday, and Space Monkey wanted to wait before he put me in touch with them to get the post written. Now I won’t be free until Thursday and I don’t see the point then.

Right now, the only thing that is keeping me going is the very real possibility that a month from now, I’ll be pain free and able to walk.
