Where have I been?

I went back to the doctor’s office today. It was a last minute call since I was in an unbelievable amount of pain when I got home and all day today. A definite 9 on the pain scale.

I want to stick with the physical therapy since I absolutely want to avoid surgery if at all possible, but I’m in pain. Luckily, I’ve found the only two doctors in the Western world who won’t prescribe painkillers for pain. One prescribed over the counter pills and the other has prescribed non-steroid anti-inflammatories, though I’m not sure how that is supposed to make my thigh muscle stop hurting. Worse yet, I had to get a shot of the stuff, and I am deathly afraid of needles.

As Space Monkey. I’ve told him to his face I wouldn’t give blood, even if it meant saving his life, because I don’t want long, hollow metal objects sucking the lifeforce out of my body. But pain makes you do stupid things, like letting a nurse stick a syringe in your ass. I guess it worked since all I feel is a really sore ass and no knee pain. But the former is going away and the leg is beginning again.
