What is too mature for toddlers? Apparently, Melanie Martinez, host of the PBS Kids Sprout network show The Good Night Show is. She was fired from her job after the network learned of her other work.

Airing for three hours each evening, “The Good Night Show” airs soothing stories and cartoons designed to get an audience of 2-to-5-year-olds ready for bed. Each night, Martinez guides a puppet character into dreamland. Martinez is a stage actress and mother of a toddler.

This would all be a lot funnier if it had turned out she was a stripper dancing under the name “Seasame Bunz” or something. As it is, this is really more tragic.
