I sure did. Actually, I knew about it but I didn’t find the time to write about it. I still don’t, so I’m just going to quote our own Senator John “Man on Box Turtle Sex” Cornyn about why we’re fighting a war in Iraq.

The worldwide demand for oil has placed pressure on all nations to maintain access to fuel, which he says is a factor in the current war in Iraq.

“There is no coincidence that we’re engaged in wars in the Middle East,” he said. “One of the reason we fight these fights is to keep ourselves from being cut off.”

Good to know. I mean, it wasn’t like we were told it was specifically about saving ourselves from WMD or anything.
