People won’t stop calling the Trib. Like any other day, I suppose. They want to know if the fireworks show in Indian Springs park is still on tonight because of the rain. If they had bothered to actually read today’s newspaper, they would know that

Waco community promotions director Jonathan Cook said the city’s annual fireworks and music show at Indian Spring Park will go on at 7 p.m. tonight as planned unless “it’s a hardcore downpour.”

Since it has barely rained here today (not the case in McGregor, which was drenched), any idiot could figure it out. They didn’t read today’s paper, though, so all the idiots are calling me to figure it out for them.

This is just all the more reason to start doing my blogging from a bunker and to sever all human contact. That would be a strange idea, except my experience has taught me that most of the people on this planet are so f-ing annoying that isolation is preferable.
