Crackheads, don’t call here no more
Published by Nate Nance June 20th, 2006 in Noteworthy News, This Weblog, SportsI don’t know what it is, but I’ve already received three calls tonight from people that I’m fairly sure are on crack about the Mavs game tonight. One call asked me about the structure of the home-away system for the NBA Finals. Actually, what he said was “Does it, does it go 2-3-4. I mean, 2-3, 2-3, 2-3, 2-3, two… three… Damnit!”
To which I replied “Yes sir, it goes 2-3-2 and began with home court advantage for Dallas. This playoff structure was first introduced in the 1985 Finals, and is the first to see the home team win the first 5 games.”
Another caller asked me “Where did the Mavericks play San Antonio last night?” I just hung up on him.
I’m entertaining the notion that it is probably three guys in the same room who possibly have no idea that they have all called me about tonight’s game.
