BOR has a look at who has what endorsements in the race for Texas Democratic Party Chair. My guy Glen Maxey is looking pretty good, but even without endorsements I would still be supporting him.

Lakesha Rogers has been running for the job for a while, only I didn’t know because I wasn’t paying attention (nervous laughter). But, not many other people knew I suspect since that was probably her first press release we posted last night in our half-asleep state.

Just a few pointers for the Rogers campaign. One, you might not want to send out anything that blames Lloyd Bentsen for being the chief architect to undermine the Party and the “Wall Street takoever” of the New Democrats on the day of his funeral. Some might see that as incredibly bad taste.

Two, find a new program for writing these releases because they don’t translate well for copying and pasting. It’s a mess and I’m entirely too lazy to go through and make sure it is readable.

If any other campaign wants to let us in on what is going on with the “Race for the Chair” (I’m so copyrighting that) email us. We’re getting stuff from Glen and Boyd almost daily but that was the first we heard from Rogers and I have yet to hear from Urbina-Jones.
