Tea-hee!

I just start giggling like little school girl when I think of Gina Parker and her fellow “grassrots activists” for their little stunt Monday morning. I really wish I could have seen pictures of that, but I’ll settle for a story in the Trib.
“We need to buy down the surplus,” said Gina Parker, a Waco […]

I bet you thought I had forgotten about my own Congressman, Chet Edwards, didn’t you? Well, here’s a chance for you to vote for him, even if you’re not represented by him. From Vince:

As Swing State Project notes, Barbara Boxer is doing “exactly what every safe, flush incumbent should be doing: She’s putting her resources […]

For shame

Sean-Paul tells us about Congressman Charlie Gonzales:
Everyone, meet Rep. Charles “Charlie” Gonzales. Charlie is a Democrat. Sometimes. But not today. Today he was Ed Whitacre’s, CEO of AT&T, tool in Congress. You see, Charlie voted against the Markey Amendment, which would have guaranteed internet freedom. The Markey Amendment would have prevented AT&T (who has […]

It was another tough week in the newsroom. I’ll be back on the case in a few minutes, I just need to go buy some coffee so that I’ll have all my faculties.

Another working day

I got home late last night. Apart from several playoff games going into overtime, a lot of local games were rain delayed until late at night and we ended up waiting for them.
Tonight is no better. I have to deal with the Little League page. It is a whole page of just little league stuff, […]

Dewhurst says

That everyone is smoking crack. From QR:
Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst said Tuesday that the tax bills passed by the House would only buy down school property taxes by 33 to 35 cents. Getting to the $1 tax rate promised by the Perry-Sharp tax plan would take either more revenue or getting there a penny or […]

Oh nevermind

I am totally swamped at work. I’ve got at least three different UIL golf tournaments that need to be typed up, the sports editor telling me I need to type up all the Little League tonight or we’re screwed. And for some reason my agate page has been usurped by the service directory.
I’ve only been […]

Since I loaded Stat Counter last Tuesday or Wednesday. That is actually kind of depressing.
I used to have really high stats, but a lot of those were from Google searches that found previous posts. It is literally all about the new posts now and getting people to choose Common Sense for blog news.

No coffee and no CNN

Make Nate something something.
I should probably post something, but really I’m very sleepy right now and I don’t feel like it. Expect posts in the afternoon.
