Sunday serenade

That’s right kiddies, I’m still alive. I really like taking Saturdays off from blogging; it gives me time to me that I don’t have to worry about being on a computer.

On a weekday, I may get up at 10:30 and blog until 3 p.m., then go to work and stare at a computer screen and type in info until after midnight. That’s a 10-hour computer-staring day, which can reek havoc on the eyes and the nerves. You all know how high-strung I am by Wednesday night, the night that traditionally everything falls apart.

The more I’ve come to realize things are going to go bad that night, the easier it has been to accept them and move on. So I’m making progress, and that’s a good thing. Now, if only I could walk in Wednesday and not have things go horribly wrong, just once.

Even with progress, I have to take a day just to be away. Otherwise, I might really burn out. Saturday seemed like a logical choice. I’m not at work, there’s usually no news to speak of that can’t wait until Sunday and my friends are available to get together and relax. We haven’t done that yet, but they are available.
