Mary Carey for state assembly
Published by Nate Nance April 27th, 2006 in Noteworthy News, National Politics, NSFWSACRAMENTO, Calif. - She started out the day planning to run for governor of the state, but by the time her flight was about to leave at the end of the Free Speech Coalition’s annual lobbying day in the capitol, Mary Carey had a new plan: Run for the California Assembly as the representative from Beverly Hills, Westwood, West Hollywood and West L.A.
I’d vote for her! Hell, I’ll even work on her campaign!
Seriously, though, I have no idea what that assembly district is like, so I can’t really handicap the race (I’ll have to check to see if that primary is even open). I assume she’s running as a Republican, as per her interview on The Daily Show. If any California readers would be represented by Ms. Carey, please comment with your thoughts. Tell me about the district so that we conceive a convetional wisdom.
